Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Produkte Design website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services
Produkte Design provides custom helmet painting services. Our services include:
- Custom design consultation and concept development
- Professional helmet preparation and painting
- Clear coating and finishing
- Shipping and delivery of completed helmets
Orders and Payment
Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Prices may vary based on design complexity, helmet type, and project requirements. A deposit is required to begin work on your project.
Payment Terms
We require a 50% deposit to begin work. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before shipping. Payment can be made via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
Cancellation
Cancellations made before work begins will receive a full refund of the deposit. Once work has started, deposits are non-refundable as materials and labor have been committed to your project.
Helmet Requirements
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing a helmet in good condition suitable for painting
- Removing all accessories and hardware before shipping (unless otherwise arranged)
- Ensuring the helmet meets safety standards for its intended use
- Shipping the helmet securely and insured
We reserve the right to refuse helmets that are damaged, unsuitable for painting, or do not meet safety standards.
Design and Intellectual Property
Your Content
You represent that you have the right to use any logos, images, or designs you provide for your helmet. You are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions for trademarked or copyrighted material.
Our Work
Produkte Design retains the right to photograph and display completed helmets in our portfolio, website, and social media for promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing.
Shipping and Delivery
Standard turnaround time is 3-4 weeks from design approval. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee. Shipping times vary by location and carrier.
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Warranty and Liability
Workmanship Warranty
We warrant our paintwork against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from delivery. This warranty does not cover damage from crashes, improper care, or normal wear and tear.
Limitation of Liability
Produkte Design provides cosmetic painting services only. We do not modify the safety characteristics of helmets. Our liability is limited to the cost of our services. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of painted helmets.
Website Use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California.
